Welcome to the home page of the Lakeland Skeptics Society! This is a group run by the students at Lakeland High School in Suffolk, Virginia. The main focus of the society is to seek the answers to life's mysteries. We put myths to the test and conduct paranormal research using the scientific method. Any junior or senior at the school is allowed to join. Sophomores and Freshman will be admitted only with special approval: a review of grades (No F's! And a GPA of at least 2.0) and a travel form to be signed by a parent/guardian stating that travel to group functions can easily be arranged.
